All students should have equal access to mental health treatment. The mission of Acacia ROOTS is to remove financial barriers to mental health treatment for students enrolled in higher education.
Currently, all donations to Acacia ROOTS support direct mental health services.
Acacia ROOTS provides financial support for direct mental health services to students facing financial barriers such as, but not limited to, high insurance deductibles, student debt, unaffordable co-pays, or a lack of insurance. As we continue to grow, Acacia ROOTS aspires to provide student based mental health education and outreach opportunities to students and the clinicians who serve them. These opportunities will include workshops, seminars, local events, continuing education opportunities, and merchandise focused on de-stigmatizing mental health treatment.
